A small team of Expanding Lives volunteers will pick up the scholars from the airport. The crew will head to Wisconsin for the week-long retreat. 

In addition to combating jetlag and adjusting to a new culture/food, the scholars are given temporary cell phones, taught how to navigate US street signs & will begin leadership class along with English lessons.
