“Hearing the Beninese girls' stories about gender inequality in their country made me want to do something, so I started the Niles West High School Feminism Club with my friend Lejla. Through the club we are able to raise money for Expanding Lives while spreading word about the movement. I love management, coordinating volunteers, and fundraising money. I’ve realized I might want to do something like this as a career.”
